Stuart Schuhmann graduated from Texas A&M-Commerce and holds a Clinical Social Work License (LCSW), beginning his service to others in 2011. Stuart works with individuals in Southeastern Oklahoma and Northeastern Texas. Stuart’s therapeutic approach is to draw on a variety of methods and styles creating a tailored approach based on clients specific needs instead of forming the client relationship around a specific methodology. He accepts clients of all ages and works with individuals, couples and groups to help people overcome various issues such as problems within relationships, addictions, school issues, anxiety disorders, depression, and other areas that cause stress in life. Stuart has an easy-going personality with a passion for helping people overcome life’s struggles and work towards a purpose driven life. He believes that the right therapeutic relationship is critical to client success and offers the first session free of charge.

My name is Stuart Schuhmann and I am very happy to finally be living my dream of being of service to others in a therapeutic environment. I believe in providing support in a safe and healing environment to where we can work together through the stressful issues that are causing conflict in your life. I am committed to helping people overcome struggles with mental health and/or others areas that are weighing you down so you can live a more peaceful and content life. I have learned many therapeutic styles over my years but have come to believe that there isn’t a methodology that has all the answers for each each persons’ issues or personality, so I base our work on what is best for you and your situation. I would love to meet you and talk about the issues that are weighing on you to see if we would make a good team in helping you move forward in your life.
